Ways You Can Get Involved

There are many ways to contribute to our efforts, no matter your experience level or time commitment.

1. Become a Member: Join the official ranks of the Pettis County Democrats Club! Your membership helps us maintain our operations, organize events, and support Democratic candidates. It’s the best way to stay informed and connected to our work.

Or, consider joining the Pettis County Democratic Central Committee. The Central Committee is the governing body of the Pettis County Democratic Party. 

2. Volunteer Your Time: Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Even a few hours can make a significant difference!

• Canvassing & Phone Banking: Reach out to voters, share our message, and understand community concerns.
• Event Support: Help with setup, registration, or logistics at our meetings, rallies, and fundraisers.
• Office & Administrative Tasks: Assist with data entry, mailings, or other essential office duties.
• Digital & Communications: Assist in managing our social media or create content.
• Central Committee & County Democrat Club: We welcome volunteers for both the Pettis County Democrats Central Committee and the Pettis County Democrat Club. Get involved with committees focused on areas such as fundraising, communications, or candidate recruitment, or assist with various club activities and events.

3. Attend an Event: Join us at our meetings, forums, and social gatherings to meet fellow Democrats, discuss important issues, and hear from local leaders and candidates. Check our Events page for upcoming dates and details.

4. Make a Donation: Financial contributions, regardless of their size, are crucial to our success. Your generosity enables us to fund voter outreach, support candidates, and operate efficiently. 

5. Stay Informed: Knowledge is power! After joining the Democratic Club or Committee, you can be added to our email listserv to receive regular updates on local issues, upcoming events, and ways to take action. 

6. Run for Office: Are you passionate about serving your community? Consider running for local office! We’re always looking for dedicated individuals to step up and represent Democratic values on school boards, city councils, and other local positions.
